- Incentives – The Canada Greener Homes Program provides a $40,000 interest-free loan to Canadian homeowners. Approval can take several weeks and an energy evaluation must be completed before getting solar panel quotes. Learn more about the application process here.
- Payment – Installer payment schedules vary significantly and rarely align with disbursements from financing programs. This means that you will have to carry at least a portion of the costs with cash or short-term bridge financing like a line of credit.
- Timing – Getting solar quotes and comparing them takes time. There is no way to rush our process as we will always prioritize quality over speed. The average turnaround time for solar quotes is currently 3 weeks and solar installers are currently booking installations 3-6 months out. The solar quotes we get for you will be valid for 15 days.
